Practical experience in metal gear manufacturing
Chris Gears manufactures custom metal gears and transmission components to customer drawings for business customers. Production takes place in China, with Chris handling commercial enquiries and coordinating technical requirements with the workshop.
The workshop founder has nearly 20 years of experience in mechanical machining. This practical background supports the review of drawings, assembly requirements and machining methods for each component.
We confirm materials, quantities, inspection requirements and the production scope before agreeing on a quotation. Technical and commercial questions are addressed together so each order has a clear basis for manufacturing and delivery.
How we work
Drawing-led production
The drawing defines the component. We review the specification and clarify the scope before quoting.
Clear processing arrangements
Specialist operations, including grinding where required, may involve processing partners.
Order-specific commitments
Materials, quantities, checks, delivery and freight are confirmed per order. We do not hold a catalogue of stocked gears.
Talk to Chris about your requirement
Chris handles customer communication and coordinates drawing questions with the workshop. Share your part reference, order quantity and inspection requirements so the quotation can address the actual scope.
Product illustrations identify gear families; they are not photographs of completed customer orders.
